Konferencja „Struggle for Law and the continental legal tradition”
W dniach 9-10 marca 2017 r. odbyła się na Wydziale Prawa i Administracji UJ konferencja międzynarodowa „Struggle for Law and the continental legal tradition” poświęcona Rudolfowi von Jheringowi i jego koncepcji ujmowania prawa. Zaproszeni Prelegenci przedstawili w czasie dwudniowej konferencji następujące zagadnienia: Ist Jherings Wiener Vortrag „Der Kampf um’s Recht” auch heute noch eine taugliche Grundlage des Rechtsverständnisses? (Prof. Dr. Rudolf Welser, Vienna); Domestic trials, Struggle for Law: Jhering’s legal dispute with his maidservant as a formative influence on his concept of law (Prof. Dr. Kroppenberg/Dr. Nikolaus Linder, Göttingen); Possession and possessory remedies in the Draft of modifications of the Civil Code of Russian Federation in the mirror of Jhering’s doctrine of possession (Prof. Dr. Anton Rudokvas, St. Petersburg); Windscheid, Jhering, and Dernburg on the eve of codification (Prof. Dr. Schulte-Nölke, Osnabrück); Critiques of some of Jhering’s notions in Leon Petrażycki’s legal philosophy (Dr. Piotr Szymaniec, Walbrzych); Jhering’s concept of Rechtsgefühl and its role in Struggle for Law (Dipl. jur. Josefa Birr, Göttingen); Struggle for law in the framework of international arbitration (Dr. Christoph Mecke, Göttingen/Hannover); „Struggling for law“ in the age of Big Data (Prof. Dr. Busch, Osnabrück).
Konferencja została zorganizowana we współpracy Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego z Uniwersytetem w Osnabrück, Uniwersytetem Georga-Augusta w Getyndze oraz Sądem Arbitrażowym przy Krajowej Izbie Gospodarczej w Warszawie. Konferencja była częścią projektu finansowanego przez NCN pt. „Made in Europe” — europejskie standardy prawne jakości usług świadczonych w konkurencyjnych warunkach globalnego rynku. Modelowe rozwiązania prawa zobowiązań zorientowanego na usługi (projekt nr UMO-2012/04/A/HS5/00709).
